Primary seperation
July 23, 2008
For most, it comes as a shock. Seperation of your parents is unimaginably difficult to comprehend and even harder to get over. As for me they never argued, my parents I mean, which on one hand made things easier yet on the other a whole lot more difficult. Its like being hit with a 100 mph fast ball except I got blindsided. Nevertheless it still hurts like hell. The night after the news is broken was ,as goes with out saying, hard. How are you supposed to understand that mommy/daddy wont be sleeping at your home anymore? I remember one night when I was in my room and had the strange feeling that something was amiss, something was going terribly wrong in my house. After about 10 minutes of solitary pondering i walked into my parents room and did a body count, 1…2… wait theres no 2? “where’s mom?” I asked
“shopping” he replied.
As i walked back to my room I passed by a nearby window seeing nothing but blackness nighttime hmm it was almost 10:30pm now why would she be shopping at this hour? After half an hour of confusion I finally fell asleep only to wake up and find out she still wasnt there.
She came home later that day and I immediatly inquired about her previous whereabouts. “mommy just fell asleep at her pottery studio” hmm…. suspicious?
